FEDERAL FINANCIAL AID:
Because CCU College is nationally accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS) you have the ability to apply for Federal funding through the U.S. Department of Education to help cover the cost of your cosmetology or esthetics education. You may be qualified for one or more of the following options:
Federal Pell Grant: Unlike a loan, a Pell Grant does not have to be repaid. Federal Pell Grants usually are awarded only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree.
Federal Direct Loans: Subsidized and unsubsidized loans are federal student loans for eligible students to help cover the cost of higher education at a four-year college or university, community college, trade, career or technical school. The U.S. Department of Education offers eligible students and participating schools Direct Subsidized Loans and Direct Unsubsidized Loans.
Federal Parent Plus Loans: PLUS Loans are federal loans that graduate or professional degree students and parents and dependent undergraduate students can use to help pay for education expenses. The U.S. Department of Education makes Direct PLUS Loans to eligible borrowers through schools participating in the Direct Loan Program.
